Community is at the heart of everything we do. We show up for our clients with care, and we try to show up for our neighbors the same way — it's not a separate thing we do, it's just an extension of who we are. That's why we make time to get out from behind the toolbox and invest in the place we call home.

 

Career Days & Talking to Kids

Some of our favorite outreach is with kids and teens — career days at local schools, scout troops, or any group of curious future builders. There's nothing better than watching a kid realize that yes, they can absolutely do this too. If you're a teacher, troop leader, or program coordinator looking for someone to talk trades with your group, we'd love to be considered.

Speaking & Workshops

Beyond career days, Kc is available for speaking engagements, panels, and hands-on DIY workshops — for schools, trade organizations, community groups, and events focused on women+ in the trades or home skills for beginners.

Community Partnerships

We're always looking for ways to partner with local nonprofits, schools, and organizations that share our mission of empowering women+ through skilled trades — including through She Can Fix That Academy™, our apprentice program.
