About Us

Our clients often ask, “How did you learn to do all this stuff?” It started with our founder, Kc, who comes from a long line of very handy people. Her whole life, her family spent weekends and summers building, repairing, and making things.

“We could make that!” was a phrase the family constantly used. Kc's favorite places were her Grandpa's workshop and her makeshift treehouse. Her parents taught her to think through problems and find the best solution. Her Grandpa taught her how to use power tools with care and respect. Most importantly, her family taught her that “where there's a will, there's a way,” and “where there's a problem, there's a solution” — the same spirit that still guides how we solve problems today.

 

That mindset is what She Can Fix That is built on today. We're growing beyond a one-woman show into a team of skilled handywomen who share the same values — problem-solving, respect for the work, and genuine care for the people whose homes we're in. We show up, we take ownership of our work, and we treat every home with the same care and respect we'd want in our own.

We're passing these skills on, too: through hands-on training and our Apprentice Program, we're doing our part to open doors for more women in the trades — helping the next generation of handywomen build confidence and a career they can count on.
